1. Who we are

Openhearted AI ("Openhearted", "we", "us") provides AI-powered sign language translation and operates this website, opencraft.io, the client platform for our services (the "platform"), which clients use to upload, manage and review media projects and to communicate with our team.

2. What data we collect

  • Account data. When you sign in to the platform, your name and email address as provided by your Google account (see section 3), plus your platform role and profile details you choose to add.
  • Media content. Video, audio and image files you upload to the platform for processing, review or delivery.
  • Project and CRM data. Project records, invoices and billing documents, and contact details you exchange with us in the course of a business relationship.
  • Messages. The content of support and project chat messages you send through the platform.
  • Technical data. Standard server logs (IP address, timestamps, requested pages) kept for security and troubleshooting. We do not run advertising or analytics trackers on this site.

3. Sign in with Google

The platform offers self-service sign-in via "Sign in with Google". When you use it, Google shares your basic profile (name, email address, and an identifier) with us so we can create and recognize your account. We receive only this basic identity information — we never access your Google files, contacts, or other Google services, and we never post anything on your behalf. Google's handling of your data is described in Google's own Privacy Policy.

Team members may instead sign in with a platform password; that choice never involves Google.

4. How we use your data

  • To create and administer your account and authenticate you.
  • To store, process and deliver the media content of your projects.
  • To communicate with you about projects, support and billing.
  • To keep the platform secure and prevent abuse.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

5. Your media content

Media you upload remains yours. We use it solely to provide the services you requested (processing, review, delivery), we do not make it public unless you explicitly publish it (for example by adding it to the public portfolio), and we do not share it with third parties. Media items you remove from the platform are deleted from our storage.

6. Data sharing

We share personal data only with:

  • Google — for the sign-in flow itself (section 3).
  • Infrastructure providers — our site and platform run on servers we administer; some fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which technically discloses your IP address to Google for that request.
  • Authorities — where we are legally required to do so.

7. Storage and security

Data is stored on servers operated and administered by Openhearted. All traffic is encrypted in transit with TLS. Access to personal data and uploaded media is restricted to authorized team members on a need-to-know basis. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data and review them regularly.

8. Data retention

We keep account and project data for as long as your account is active or your projects require it. Uploaded media is deleted when you remove it or when your arrangements with us provide for deletion. Server logs are kept for a limited period for security purposes. Data we must keep by law (for example billing records) is retained for the statutory period.

9. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you may object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@openhearted.help. If you signed in with Google, you can also revoke the platform's access from your Google account settings at any time.

10. Children's privacy

The website and platform are not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our services evolve. The effective date at the top always reflects the current version, and material changes will be announced on this page.
